She honored the country music icon following the news of his death on Monday, February 5 at the age of 62.Keith bravely battled stomach cancer since 2021. His family shared the following statement about his death, praising the “courage” he showcased throughout the past few years.

She wrote a powerful tribute to Keith in the caption.

“Saddle up the horses, Jesus, ‘cause a true blue COWBOY just made his ride up to heaven!!! Introduce him to all the Okies and sign that boy up for the choir!
